Our cherished shoulder bag is now 100% British! The Cartridge Oak Bag is our converted classic, made in Scotland and sourced entirely from within the British Isles to conserve it’s original ode to homegrown design.
At Mackenzie Leather, we’re proud to introduce our finest British Oak Bark hide leather, available in your choice of three natural colours – Brown, Black, or London Tan.
It features a simple buckle fastening, and an internal, suede velour lined pocket that’s handy for your phone, purse and keys.
Choose from two size options, small or large. The larger design features a zipped pocket under the flap that offers more convenience with added security.
Customise your bag by adding your initials for a more personal touch.

All products in the new British Collection are available in three shades of the finest British Oak Bark Bridle hide leather: Oak Stain (Brown), London Tan and Black. The hide is strong, durable and classic in colour tone, offering timeless quality to Mackenzie’s ageless craftsmanship.
Mackenzie’s Master craftsmen are proud to include the Cartridge design as part of the British family. It’s an honour and our pride to assist and sustain Britain’s artisan providers.
We source our Oak Bark hide from the last oak tanner in the UK, down in Devon, England. The tannery has been in their family name for over 150 years, with the site today still standing on the remains of an ancient Roman tanning site – which explains the abundance of Oak trees in the area!
The Cartridge Oak Bag is the perfect balance of sustainability, comfort and Great British design.
